Hon förklarade noggrant vad som behövde göras och försäkrade mig om att det inte skulle göra ont. När behandlingen började använde de bedövning och kontrollerade regelbundet om jag kände något obehag. Själva lagningen gick snabbt och smidigt, och jag blev positivt överraskad av hur bekvämt det kändes.

A titanium screw - implant - is drilled into the jawbone and the gums are then sewn together to allow the implant to heal for a number of months.
